oh no [Norris, Alex] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. oh no Review: Approving Review! (if you get this title you're a fan too ;) ) - For those unfamiliar, yes this is a strip that ends with the same punchline every time! Topics run from the every day to current affairs to the existential, together with the blob drawing style it is truly one of the most elegant, fun and humorous comics I have had the pleasure of reading in a long time. Though to caution the uninitiated, the humor runs from outright funny to the "aww this is sad and relatable, and thus funny." I have been following this comic in its web comic form and I am so happy to see it finally as a book. (Excellent job playing with the book format and the comic strip format, btw!) Old favourite strips are featured along with lots of new material mixed in, so even fans who have read everything from the web comic will have much to enjoy! Also, as I am writing this it is ranked #1 for New Releases in Computers & Internet Humor but has a few negative reviews from people who got advanced copies but don't seem to be the right audience for this book. I wonder if these readers made it to Page 80... ;) Review: I laugh out loud when reading this book - This is my favorite collection of comics. I find the comics hilarious and relatable, even with how simple they are and even though they all share the exact same punchline. It's also a nice quality book with thick pages and nice print.

Hilarious, 11/10 would buy again
This is an excellent compilation of hilarious oh no jokes. I am still laughing even when I know what the punchline will be (which is what makes it so great and genius). The jokes are funny because they are derived from experiences that we all have (Have you been a victim of personal space invasion? Do you find it difficult to stay focused on tasks? Are you a regular Human Being experiencing the trials and tribulations of LIFE?!? Then this book is for you.) Hilarious and cute with little details that make it even better. I will buy every Oh No compilation that follows this one. Also print quality and binding are excellent.

good book
The book was good, the artwork was ok, it made me laugh the first few times but not anymore. Also, it is kind of short. It is a good book (mostly)

digital comics are fun! this is printed on paper. oh no
Alex Norris's Webcomic Name is a delightful exploration of form (and lack of form) in comic strips. Every single panel ends with "oh no"--this is not a surprise. The surprise is how we get there and the context of the disappointment. The characters are nearly formless blobs (or other geometric shapes), so they really do represent all of us--and their blob-like nature ends up being a source for more comedy from Norris. The literal is figurative, the figurative is literal. Also it's so funny I end up laughing so hard I start to cry. oh no!

Only purchase if you have a sense of humor.
This is a hilarious print of the popular web comic webcomic_name on Instagram. It includes elegant, yet simple, artwork that conveys an abnormal amount of meaning and surreal satire. Again, only purchase this book if you have a sense of humor and are okay with a [somewhat] repetitive punchline "oh no" that persistently changes in meta text between each comic strip.

Good for 15 minutes
Oh no. Running gag. I like cats. I have get something done. (time pases.) I wish it was a better world. Oh no.

Un compendio de Alex Norris con su personaje sin género rosado que sufre el día a día con situaciones comunes que hacen que digamos “oh no” y que nos haga sonreír en este pequeño libro que espero sea el primero de muchos porque si no: “oh no”

I bought two copies for my friend group, they haven’t arrived yet but I can already say I’m going to love the content! My friends live for these comics... they only recently found out about the book release and are talking about supporting the artist by purchasing copies... I’m trying to tell them it’s a terrible idea because I secretly preordered for them!! *blobs surrounded by too many copies of oh no comics* “oh no” ps. no worries I convinced them to order prints instead

I bought this as a Christmas gift, and I honestly couldn't put it down. I feel rotten I read the full thing before wrapping it! My boyfriend's brother wanted 'strange planet' but his Mum bought him it already, so I got him this instead. He had never heard of it, but thought it was hilarious. It arrived in pristine condition, no damage or folded pages. I could tell no one had ever opened it. Even though it's filled with the same running joke through out, it just gets funnier! The author pokes fun of himself and the jokes are really relatable. Excellent observations. If I see anything else by Alex Norris I'll keep an eye out 🙂
