Greek Orthodox Easter Red Egg Dye

This dye works great. I use it every year for my Othodix Easter eggs. So vibrant and red.

This dye exceeded my expectations ! The American dyes just don’t achieve the ruby red color of this dye. The instructions a little vague but I powered through and achieved great results with uniform vibrant color ! I will buy again !

Vibrant deep red color. First try and they came out the perfect shade of red.

Ended up spending $45 to dye 36 eggs and ended up tossing. This dye was horrible. I had white spots all over the eggs. It was more white than red. I followed directions exactly. Then ended up trying to dye again with no help. Then a third product trying to save but no good. Don’t buy

This Greek girl only uses this dye for Easter! I normally head to the Greek market in San Francisco, but ran out of time this year and this is the same dye they sell there so it worked out perfect. It's always going to be messy and crazy and fun, but it also works perfectly and it's the only dye that will get those eggs truly red! Don't forget to coat them in olive oil when you're done to give them a good shine!

A little bit goes a long way. This dye gives a vibrant red color for Orthodox Easter celebrations. We dyed 3 dozen eggs with two packets.

good deep red color. Colors Easter eggs evenly and easily. Downside... you really need to use gloves and stainless steel bowls. The dye otherwise can get everywhere. Also, while the eggs remained deep red, some of the dye can rub off onto your hands even after the eggs are cooled and the surfaces oiled (if you like them shiny). This is a traditional Greek Easter egg dye like my grandmothers used. I will continue to use it even though it was pretty messy.
