Excellent choice
A very good wine at the right price. A local Restaurant charges £26 quid for the same one . Would most probably buy again.

ABV %
It has been excellent but we are now getting 2022 and 2023 vintage which are as low as 11% ABV instead of the normal 13% ABV the ABV have a totally different taste so recommend 13% ABV purchase only IF you can be sure you will only get 13% ABV I cannot recommenf lower ABV as taste os unacceptable.

Great wine
This is a great red wine which until a few weeks ago I bought in the supermarkets but it has suddenly disappeared from the shelves. Buying from Amazon is similar price to the supermarket cheaper if you subscribe.

Not the taste that I recall, perhaps 2024 is a bad year or just because it's made to 11%?
I bought a few cases at a bargain price. Australian Shiraz and McGuigan had been a safe bet for decent non-occasion wine for many a year. This was terrible, lacking any depth of flavour. If I had to guess, it tastes like they have added water to get it to 11% rather than stopping fermentation at 11%. It is possibly the first 11% red I've bought, it was entirely disappointing in terms of taste and feeling in the mouth. Mrs Fat refused to drink any after the 1st bottle, if I wasn't so £ conscious I may have done the same. Effects of alcohol aside, I can't say I enjoyed any of the experience. Whatever the reason (% or year) it's my last purchase until I forget the taste.
