Ting Ting Jahe - Ginger Candy, 4.4 Ounce

This was really good, chewy ginger candy. Great flavor.

Expiration date 21/10/2026 on package was described as being fresh excellent if using in ginger tea or just as a snack.

I have tried many of the Ginger Chews out there, but these are positively the best in my opinion...even better that the Ginger People chews. One of the best things about them is that they remain soft even after the package being opened for awhile. The other chews seemed to get harder which was difficult to chew even tho I tried to soften them by sucking on them for awhile. Will purchase these from now on.

There used to be a small store near my house that sold these when I was little and my baby sitter got me addicted to them. I would save up my allowance to buy a bag as often as I could. The store has since changed management so these aren't sold there anymore and when I got a craving I was so glad Amazon had them since this is the only place I can find them now. All of that being said, these didn't seem as good as I remember. There was no more of that unique paper wrapper and overall the candy was harder to chew than I remember and got stuck in my teeth more. I'm not sure if the cold of the deep cold of the time factored in but I missed the coat of powdery sugar and chewiness. It wasn't quite the nostalgia I wanted but they're still good, all things considered, and I'm willing to try them again.

Ginger helps to soothe my stomach and is said to aid in digestion. I have no idea what the package says, however, I worked with a lady that always had them and would give them to me. They have really made a difference for me.

The Ting Ting Jahe ginger candy is EXCELLENT and good for what ails you. I usually buy it at a local Chinese grocery store. I bought this to complete the minimum for free shipping even though it's more expensive than what I pay for it locally, and was sorry I did. First it didn't arrive when it was supposed to (it was shipped separately from the rest of my order AND arrived 2 days after delivery estimate), then when I opened the parcel I found that the plastic bag had been cut open as the candy spilled all over the floor! If not for each candy being individually sealed I would've returned the candy. Again, Ting Ting Jahe candy, manufactured by PT Sindu Amritha is WONDERFUL, but I wouldn't buy it from ToysDiva again..

Excellent ginger candy. Real ginger flavor not artificial.
