Laurastar Steam Cord Holder- Universal

A well built product that works perfectly keeping the electric iron cord up high enough to stop it from snagging on the clothes. It can mount on the board, or in my case, I mount it on a kitchen cabinet close to where I set up the ironing board.

Works wonderful and keeps my cord out from under my feet! This is a VERY sturdy cable holder. I am using it with a normal steam iron I bought from Costco. It has a 6 foot cord and was always in my way. The Laurastar Cable is well worth every penny. I think it will outlast me!

Works well .little shorter than the original .

I have an 11-year-old Laurastar with the spiral clamp base. It was like sliding a spring onto the ironing board. It wriggled and fell off. Often. I tried to tighten it, but it never worked. I was delighted to find this one with the screw clamp. I installed it and it holds securely and stays put!

Hard to figure out how the cord is to fit into the openings.

After looking at a lot of other product reviews, I decided on this item. Solid clamp; unique left or right horizontal tilting mechanism that is not shown or described in the product description; wire loop at top, not plastic. Pictures show that I ran the iron cord through the upper loop, and then down the wire through the lower loop coil. Then I tied a knot in the cord and extension cord at just the right place to give added weight to the cord, so that as I pull on it out over the board and back, the weight pulls the cord down to the floor. No hanging over the board and no major tensioning on the wire..

Endlich geht mit beim Bügeln nicht mehr das Kabel im Weg rum. Die Halterung ist wirklich praktisch, lässt sich an jeder Stelle des Bügelbretts (Ablage für das Bügeleisen oder an der dickeren Stelle des Bretts selbst) montieren. Habe nicht bereut, es gekauft zu haben.
