The bottled Agua Lavanda fragrance has been around since 1940, a classic fragrance which is quite affordable but not 'cheap'. The soap version is rather its own thing than a very close interpretation of the original fragrance, but is does display the basic elements: lavender, bergamot, cedarwood. I am always impressed at how rich and intense the fragrance is. I got into the habit a couple of years ago of including one bar in my carry-on luggage when I travel, it is powerful enough to make the entire bag smell wonderfully. It is not a lavender soap like something you would buy from l'Occitane for example. Lavender is not the only element here and therefore not as predominant. But it is also unique that way, and for a mass produced soap it is well made, more powerful and more lathery than common offerings like Yardley. Recommended.

Been using this soup for forty years. It’s great in men and women. Strong smell but perfect in my opinion. I save the wrappings and put them in my clothing drawers to keep my clothes smelling good.

Great jabon! It leaves me and my bathroom fragrant. I can even use it on my face, which I can say about only one other soap that I've used in my 87 years! And that was a light-brown Puig soap that was in my bathroom in a Madrid hotel in 1983.

A bit on the expensive side but the scent and nostalgic memories are priceless.

All I wear is Agua Lavanda. It is the most true lavender scent that I have been able to find. The soap provides a rich and creamy lather that makes your skin feel and smell great. I ordered 12 bars just to make sure that I didn't run out.

The smell is not really lavender, it smells more like "Heno de Pravia" (another soap by the same company). Maybe they just change label and format in the production line and call it something else? Cleans well, though.

Lovely lavender soap. Relatively expensive but also of a high quality. Long lasting fragrance. An eco option to the usual plastic bottle I would normally get. There is some light plastic wrap it comes in but still it is more environmentally version of your soap. The old fashioned bar of soap. You will keep coming back to wash your hands even if you do not need to. Just to get that lovely smell of lavender on your hands. ------- Product of Spain. Price I paid £ 8.01 ( September 2020)

An unusual and old fashioned choice, you might think, but Antonio Puig have really captured a genuine strong lavender scent and put into good, ordinary but gentle toilet soap - lovely!!!
