Canon 4082B004 Exchange Roller Kit for DR-4010C/6010C Document Scanner

436,000 pages later, my DR-4010 started skipping and jamming when taking in pages to be scanned. Order this item, original Canon sealed box roller kit for my first roller replacement. Took 30 seconds to replace BOTH rollers, scanner working like new!

This is a perfect replacement part for the Canon DR-6010C scanner. Arrived as promised, easy to install and working well after a month of high usage. I would buy this product again.

I wrote in a previous review that the ability of the scanner to pick up one sheet at a time depends on the tread on the roller. I no longer believe this to be the only factor. I moved, with my scanner, from a Mojave desert area to a very tropical, humid area. The problem of picking up one page at a time is also dependent on the clinginess of the paper, which is affected by humidity. The scanner actually blows a jet of air to lift the top sheet, and it is not strong enough to overcome the clinging of humid paper. I now "riffle" any documents before I put them in the feeder, which helps but is not a complete. Next I will try dehumidifying the area where I keep documents.

The Canon 4010C is being discontinued, I found it's replacement, the 6010C to be faster and less expensive, both are super fast, so when I found this roller kit, I was amazed at how easy it was to change out the rollers, this will allow me to continue using the 4010C. This was a great buy, save me a ton of money buying a replacement.

Hard to come up with enough words to say about a roller kit not too exciting. They work just fine.
