Decent silent guitar and great for classical players
Judging from some of the other reviews, there is, or was, a quality control problem. Mine arrived with no issues and I’ve no been using it for about five years now. Overall, it’s great and being able to practice silently is a godsend for the family. Traveling with it is easy and I bring it along on road trips. The construction quality is decent, the fret board is straight, and my bridge didn’t pop off as it has with others. The arms are fantasitic, and what set it apart for classical guitar playing.. I finally decided the geometry was a little off for me, and I ended up making some new ones…but the new 2.0 version has an adjustable arm which would be better. I only have two complaints, the tuning pegs are of pretty low quality and after four years one finally broke. They were easy to replace though. There doesn’t appear to be any standard spacing on screw positions, but I measured them and didn’t have any problems finding replacements with the same spacing. The second issue is the frets are set low and make some bar chords difficult for me. I guess that’s good training, but bars are lot easier on my regular full size guitar. Sound quality is fine, I mean… it’s a solid piece of wood…. But there’s plenty of volume to hear yourself in a quiet environment and for many situations, it’s perfect. Overall happy with the purchase and have spent many hours playing it.

Waste of money
Garbage. This came with a bent neck and could not be played.

Okay silent guitar.
Kind of top heavy, hard to hold in position. No pick-up jack.

Genius design, and it works perfectly for me!
Bought this for on the go practice and lunch break . I'm pretty happy with it so far! Compact, light, quiet and very comfortable to hold in Classical guitar position! I got a Martin backpacker as well, but that is really awkward to hold due to the small body. That’s why this cross guitar is really amazed me, although It took me some times to find the right position.

Another bridge failure. Easy to fix
Overall, I like it and the concept. Feels good in my hands and quite solid. Well constructed, except the bridge came off the first time I tuned it. Just like another reviewer posted. Not sure if they glued the bridge to the varnished surface. I sanded the old glue from the bridge and the guitar body. I applied Titebond 3 wood glue and clamped it for 72 hours. I restrung with light strings and it now works. Apart from poor bridge adhesion, the rest looks to be of good quality

poor design
I purchased the nylon string version of this guitar from Amazon. It is very nice looking out of the box. However, after playing for about 5 minutes, the cross piece that is suppose to hold the guitar on my lap start to slip forward. I have to constantly stop to readjust it. The whole instrument is just very awkward to hold and play. I expected soft sound quality. However, it was soft to the point that I can't hear the lower notes at all. Very disappointed that this didn't work out.

A Travel Companion
Purchase arrived in good condition and was exactly as described. It takes a little getting used to at first, but it’s worth the time so as to have a compact practice instrument. Very convenient, very clever design, and very good quality.
