Good quality, difficult to find the opening for the pin
This is a nice quality product, but it's difficult to put it in your hair as you have to keep pushing the hair pin thingy around to find the right opening. You need a mirror in the back of your head to be ab;e to see where the opening is.

DANGEROUS
It looked nice before I tried to bend the nail (the broken piece in the picture) back into a straight piece. Upon bending it into a straight nail, it snapped suddenly, and sent tiny metal shards everywhere. It must be a metal more pliable than pewter, coated with some sort of metallic paint. Never will I buy this again. Thankfully I wear glasses.

Nice but very small - not for thick hair.
I would say this is for decorative purposes only or for use if your hair is very thin. It only holds a small amount of hair.

Viking Hair Accessories Celtic Knot Hair Slide
This is a fairly heavyweight hair barrette with a beautifully crafted design. My problem was that it can barely accommodate the tiniest amount of hair. If you pull your hair back with a hairband then secure this on top for decoration purposes only it will work but not on its own.
