Plumb Pak PP21250 Flex 'N Fix J Bend, 1-1/2" or 1-1/4" inlet , White

Worked perfectly! I have a 57 year old kitchen sink that looks like a Frankenstein project underneath. It's a combination of cast iron, ABS and PVC from previous repairs by former owners. The J bend was leaking. I tried replacing the J Bend with a generic ABS J Bend from the hardware store and it would not seal. The old pieces did not align correctly with the new J Bend. I called a local plumber that offered free estimates and he wanted $500 -$600 to replace the various pipes under the sink. My mortgage is almost paid off and I plan on remodeling the kitchen in the next couple of years. So, I searched on Amazon and this product had enough flexibility to line up with the old connections perfectly and seal perfectly. It's light weight and I can't say that it will last for decades but, so far, I very impressed that it worked for a very low cost. If you have a tight space to work with or have connectors that don't quite line up-this J Bend is worth a try.

Bathroom sink - I had a 3 joint connection with a tailpiece and a j-trap and I had a leak where the tail met the j-connector. This product is a 2 joint connection with tailpiece and j-trap as one piece so eliminated one of the leak potentials. Solved my problem. The flex allows shifting so no need to be perfect with the alignment (yes it takes a bit of force to expand but that's actually a feature not a bug). Well designed and made.

There is nothing worst then having a leaky kitchen sink! Once I realized my kitchen sink was leaking I sprong into action! (I'm not gonna lie, I was hoping it would just go away on its own!) So I rolled up my sleeves and went into problem solving mode! I discovered that this part on my sink was cracked which was causing my issues! I ordered the part and it arrived a few minutes ago! Once I realized everything matched up it was so easy to fix! It took me longer to put my pots back under the sink then it did to replace this part! I like that fact that everything that I needed was included and it cost me less then a 2 peice snack! Thanks to Amazon this is the 3rd plumping project that I was able to fix myself in the past month! As long as everything matches up, this part really works! My kitchen sink is back in business and there are no more leaks!

Plumb Pak PP21215 Flex 'N Fix Extension Couple I purchased to replace the old one under my kitchen sink which now needs an adapter to connect to my 2-1/2 inch p-trap which I recently got. This pipe is flexible easy to install, built to flex n stretch durable. Good value for your money good thickness. I will update on the out come waiting for more parts...

The product seems ok, but unfortunately it doesn't fit over 1-1/2" black ABS pipe.
