Good quality product
After shorting out an electronic part on my trolling motor, I decided to install a cut-off switch so when I hooked up my battery charger or worked in the battery bank compartment, there was no way that could happen again. Works exactly as I expected. Like the "dust cover" on the key. I attached a piece of lanyard to the key and to the boat just in case it vibrated out on the road.

Added to tractor for extra security and bought extra when a different had failed. Easy to use and clicks into on position so you know it's on or off.

I Installed this Battery Disconnect Switch in my Sprinter Diesel RV.
I have (2) 100 Amp Deep Cycle Lithium LiFePO4 batteries in my RV, after seeing a few RV fires caused from shorted unfused wiring I decided it was time to install a cut-off switch. It takes some time and figuring out the best location closest to the Batteries and using heavy gauge cables that require some flexibility. Always use the negative cables with a Battery Disconnect Switch, the reason is the body and frame are Negative ground so no worries if a cable is pinched in an accident. This switch comes with two red plastic keys, locate with the key in the "ON" position because you'll want to be sure its out of harms way. The RED key will NOT remove from the socket while powered "ON" so KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN MOUNTING.

Simple to use and install
Using with a 6 switch Junction box for lights on a UTV. The master switch will reduce lights being left on and or accidentally being turned on resulting in battery drain..

Did not include mounting hardware.
Does the job. However, did not include the mounting hardware to attach the base. Had to leave switch hanging until I can get the proper screws and nuts.
