Don't be deceived by the thinness, this set works!!
Light weight but warm. When you feel it, it seems way too thin to keep you warm. But this set works not by providing heat, but holding the bodies own heat in. My daughter and I walk to school, and mornings in Pacific Northwest can be chilly. The thin, light material is perfect to wear under her clothes with out adding bulk or extra weight. She has worn them under her costume while Trick or Treating, with no jacket, and while walking through Christmas lights last week. She stayed perfectly warm in 34° weather. She also likes to wear them as pajamas because she says they are comfy!

Favorite cool weather pajama and base layer
I first bought a pair to act as a layer to go under clothes on way to Spain as was still winter here in Midwest. Then wore as pajamas when there. I have 3 pairs now and are a great lightweight pair when fall hits and when in hot climates but people like to blast the AC in their house (or hotel). They are thin and easily get holes, so be careful and buy when on sale.

Good baselayer
These work well as a base layer under my 8 year old son's soccer uniform. Its thin and breathable but adds an extra layer of warmth for those cold/wet practices.

Great base layer for winter soccer
In Washington state we play outside year round, never mind that it's 40 degrees and raining. Base layers are SUPER important. My 13 year old loves these. They're fleecy on the inside but smooth on the outside so they don't get as dirty as they would if they were fleece on both sides. They breathe well enough for while he's on the field and keep him warm on the sidelines. We have 2 pairs!

great product
I bought two pairs of these- one for each of my children- for a ski trip. Going from a warmer climate to skiing in Colorado, I was concerned that they would be miserable in the cold weather. I wanted something thin though, so that their mobility would not be restricted. These were great. Both girls stayed warm and dry. My older child is very particular about her clothing and will not wear anything that is uncomfortable. She had no complaints about these. These fit more like children's pajamas- they hug the body; so if you are not sure which size to order, order a size up. I ordered a small for my 40lb 6 year old who normally wears a 5/6 slim and they were loose. The large were great on my 9 year old who normally wears pants in either size 8 or 10 depending on the brand. I would definitely recommend these.

Cozy comfort!
When the high temperature for our ski day wasn't expected to get out of the teens with crazy windchill predictions, I ordered these for my 8 and 5-year-olds. They worked quite well. My 5-year-old is particular about her clothes, fit, comfort, look, and warmth, and after skiing 9-3, she was eager to go back out at 4 because she never got cold! I did layer these under sweatpants, a turtleneck sweater, a coat, snow pants, balaclava, helmet, and gloves; but she didn't feel overly bulky and had full motion with no chill except her fingertips. On days when she doesn't need to bundle up, she likes wearing these for pajamas. So happy with these!
