GEARWRENCH 18 Pc. 12 Pt. Combination Wrench Set, Long Pattern, SAE - 81917

Over the years as a Porche Mec. , most tools S-K , of course all metric and all quality tools , and as a commercial fisherman I used mostly Craftsman , often replaced every year and they are (were) another great tool . Had a house fire and huge shop burn to the ground some years ago and never replaced the tools I went to GearWrench last year taking a chance and what I received was as advertised with very few flaws if any . They are substantial in your hand and fit your adversary's well . I've used both sloppy and tight clearances and these are just about right . If you appreciate a very good tool at what I believe a good price consider this set . I do "not" like slick tools and these are that ! Spare me the glitter , give me more grip . A 5 Star as advertised , I give these a 4 1/2 for the shine.

I would recommend to any mechanic or beginner, mechanic gear wrench tools they are built overseas, but for the price that you can’t beat them, and the chrome on them is fantastic 10 out of 10 they are strong and hold up to every day wear and tear from a professional standpoint

These are great wrenches for the money. Gearwrench makes great tools. I have lots and lots of snap on, Matco, and Mac (as well as craftsman professional) and Gearwrench hand tools always perform as good as the higher priced peers. Sometimes you will notice slight flaws in their chrome where you probably will not with the higher priced companies but pure functionality is on par with the others. Highly recommended for those odd large fasteners. I also have the Metric set of these larger sizes and will probably use the metric wrenches more based on the vehicles I have now. But that may change.

I bought this set for the shop. I'm not usually too keen on tools made in China, but there is no getting around the fact that this is one great set of wrenches for the money. They are sturdy, well made, have "flank drive", are nicely chromed and are long. If you need larger than 1" wrenches, then for $10 a wrench (at the time of this writing) you will probably not find a better deal. You might pay less at Harbor Freight, but they're not going to be much less in price, and they certainly aren't going to be this kind of quality.

Bought this GW wrenches to meet my needs from 1” and above. I have been a fan/user of Snap-On wrenches and I believe they win this battle, but, I’m not going to expend close to $1k for some wrenches I’ll use once in a while. I’ve been needing to get second set of wrenches and I had been eyeing the GW 44 set and as well as the Tekton. Now that I received this wrenches, I’m going with the Tekton for the smaller set as backups. Just for the simple fact that they missed one side the size engraving on the 1-1/4”, and the chrome seems to flacking on the open ends. I don’t turn wrenches in daily basis any more, but I work on special projects with engineering. I can’t give them a good daily use like I did with snap-on. Regardless, for the money I know I got the best deal over places from Northern Tool and Harbor Freight brands. This bigger set will meet my needs I’m sure, if not, I will update this post. I’m happy with the other GW products I own. I just order a set a reversible GR MM Wrenches (8-25mm) and I’m pretty stoked to give this a drive.

Man, I can say is these are some beefy wrenches! A bit on the heavy side but you won't hurt these! Iv already had to use one for a nut that the air gun could not remove, using a sledgehammer! Yep ... And it was injured! Worked great...good set of oversized wrenches.. if tneed something in these sizes you will want these.

NO se indica de que tipo de aleación son las llaves, son delgadas y las mas pequeñas da la impresión de doblarse al hacer un poco de fuerza, son de fabricación china. Por el precio que las adquirí creo que al menos servirán para hacer trabajos ligeros en casa, No creo que sean para trabajo rudo.

Very nice wrenches and a good value

Bueno, creo que no hay mucho que decir sobre la calidad de las herramientas GearWrench, antes compraba pura herramienta Craftsman, ahora con Amazon tenemos acceso a las mejores marcas de herramientas a nivel mundial y eso me pone bastante contento y mucho mas porque adquirí este increíble juego de llaves por solo 500 pesitos, son medidas grandes y complementan bastante bien mi juego de llaves Craftsman. En particular y por el precio en oferta es que no hice reclamo alguno, el juego que me enviaron tiene detalles estéticos y una de las llaves tiene botado el cromo en una pequeña parte (pero apenas y se nota), pero a final de cuentas las quiero para usarlas, no para tenerlas de exhibición. De cualquier forma creo que el set esta muy bien y aun con el precio normal esta barato en comparación con comprar las llaves de forma individual y de marcas de menor calidad.
