Great resort pack with enough room for short backcountry trips
Awesome ski/board pack and insanely comfortable. I gave my smaller & lighter winter CamelBak to my fiancee, and the only complaint on that particular bag was CB's terribly simplistic waist straps for those performing more advanced movements or properly cinching to the body. Osprey quality & engineering means a solid fit from shoulders to torso. The resorts in CO basically mean long ventures to the back bowls, trees, & terrain, and away from the annoyingly crowded bases & huts... having a pack is essential for all day access to water, goodies, and manipulating layers as the weather constantly changes. CO in general means drinking A LOT of water, and the protected hydration tube pocket is also a necessity in my opinion... unfortunately very few winter packs actually have this simple feature. This pack does not come with a bladder like the CamelBaks, but we already have many spare bladders from different manufacturers. I keep a few with neoprene sleeves over the tube to further assist in the cold, and all of them fit great in this pack. My water tube has never completely frozen in either the CB or the Osprey with the combination of a zippered chest strap pocket & neoprene wrap.Internal pocket space and arrangement is more than adequate, and I really like the goggle pocket so I can store my extra lenses. Quick access to proper optics as the lighting changes is always a bonus. Tie down features for gear attachment are also excellent for both my skis & board. The only real complaint would be that there is no way to cinch down the main pocket (the one closest to your back), which is out of character for Osprey. This "main" pocket is also the hardest to get into since it requires unbuckling the shoulder straps, whereas the outer most is a breeze. This means if you solely use the outermost "shovel" pocket you may find your load shifting due to the allowed gap which cannot be tightened. I am considering calling Osprey to see what they'll say about my warranty if I sew in my own cam buckles to help with this.

Great pack, very comfortable
Great pack, very comfortable. I haven't been able to use it that much since I got it, but I seems to function very well the few times I have. I really like that the water hose is stored in a pocket that helps keep it from freezing. The only thing I wish about it is that it had more water proofing ability. In the Pacific Northwest, It's not always below freezing while out in the snow, and it frequently rains during the day.

My husband loved this pack and is considering getting the larger pack ...
My husband is a big snow boarder/skier/hiker, etc. He wanted a hardy backpack for his icepick, snowboard or skis, and snowshoes. After lots of shopping and trying on the different packs, he found the Kode 32. We were getting ready to buy it until at the last minute we went to Amazon to see how people rated this pack. When we saw it was 40 dollars cheaper and delivery was free (amazon prime) and would be delivered in a few days and no tax, we put the pack back on the shelf. Today we tested it out via snow hiking in the mountains. My husband loved this pack and is considering getting the larger pack as well. We went online and saw a few hiker's videos commenting on how to use and pack the Kode 32. He said it was the most comfortable Pack he's used. He liked how it sat on his hips. There are two type of claps on the pack. He liked the newer style ones due to its ease of unclasping with gloves on. The older style was ok but after using the newer design he wished all of clasps on the pack were the newer style. All in all good pack thus far and worth getting on Amazon.

Good - but improved with the Kamber
bought and returned.I compared it to the Kamber and it just didn't hold up to this year's model.2 biggest issues were1) small guage zippers - I just didn't feel like it handled closing the pack well when fully packed and I could see teeth bending etc in the backcountry if met with ice and snow2) the helmet carry covers the zippers to the avy tools - made me nervous to think I might have to pull the helmet off in order to get to the tools

Not only is it the most comfortable snowboard pack I have ever worn
Let me start out by saying I bought this pack primarily to bootpack and hike for runs during the summer. This pack ROCKS!. Not only is it the most comfortable snowboard pack I have ever worn, it retains my snowboard during technical hikes the best of any pack I ever used. It is the first snow pack I have had that feels truly molded to my back as well. The only complaints that I could dig up are that the pack has no top entry for the "general" compartment, only by taking it off your back can you get in it; and there is not really a horizontal carry option other that putting the board in between your back and the pack. These are just minor issues though when I consider the comfort and retention of the vertical carry. Hydration compatible and great outside, quick access to emergency tools. Sizing, I am 5' 9'' and measured 21 inches from Iliac crest to C7 and this pack is just a smidge too large in the M/L in summer clothes but is spot on with winter gear. Oh, if you are looking for a pack that is more just for the resort than actual backcountry hiking, get the Kode 22...the 32 might have too much room for you.

Great for resort skiing with the kids
This is a true lifesaver if you are skiing with a little one. I have been teaching my 5 year old and she does not make it far carrying her own skis. with this backpack I can put both hers and my skis on my back and still have room for snacks and her regular shoes.

My favorite all-around backpack!
This backpack does it all AND its comfortable! Perfect for day hikes or a quick ski tour day. Holds a lot of stuff in not that much space with a separate pouch for a water bladder, an ice axe hook, great a-frame ski straps, a helmet hold and 3 other storage compartments. Also, great for carrying a small pup around :)
