This is a very good bottle and does not leak when the lid is closed. If the air hole had a one-way valve it would prevent any leakage when drinking. I bought this product so I could redesign it into a hydration system for hiking. The lid is large enough to make the modifications I needed. I added a one-way air valve to enable pressure equalization when drinking. A 11mm tube can be pushed through the drink spout to make a straw into the bottle. A hiking pole rubber cap can be used as a final seal and support over the spout. A quick release connector can be added to the tube with the bite valve. The lid becomes a dust protector when closed. It will need a hole drilled for the tube. Also the air hole plug will need to be ground down so it does not seal the new air valve. The new system works great!

At the price point of £6.99 at time of my purchase, I believe you get a great water bottle. It has an ergonomic design and although the rotation of the cap can seem out of alignment if not fitted with care, simply remove and rotate a 1/4 turn then reapply. This is a slight design flaw I can live with for the price. The lid is very secure and with the mini lock system, makes it really is safe. As for getting a shower effect as claimed by others, I have not experienced this. in summary, I think this bottle is excellent for eveyday use and does Not leak. I recommend this water bottle.

Very good product, does what it says. Leakproof easy to hold and nice to drink from. Dropped the bottle lid once of the table and it cracked. Very good bottle but if you're clumsy like me I wouldn't reccomend 😂

This bottle is ideal for when I am out hiking or sitting in the garden relaxing. With its 1 litre capacity, spring loaded lid that when closed prevents leakage. I am very happy with this product.

I remember reading the reviews for this and seeing someone who must not understand what a litre is. Come on... Of course it's gonna be huge. Took the carrier thing off as I don't like them but if you do want one I'm sure it's quite suitable. Anyway. Says non toxic. BPA free. Phthalate free. Awesome. Will have to take their word for it. Mouth spout isn't as wide as some and you're gonna get a bit of splashback through the air hole. Hilarious if someone happens to be watching you drink. For them. Not you. It's not that bad though and can be avoided when you get used to it. Most annoyingly the lid doesn't line up with the hand grip but for £7 I am not complaining.

I am very pleased with the two I have just bought. - The bottom photo of theirs just about allows you to see that that vertical oval-ish button. You check that the clip part is not locking the top shut then press that button to flip open the lid [see my attached 'Press to open' picture]. - I deliberately tilted it & shook it about when it was full to see if I would get any leakage and there was none. - The bottle is designed to be held in your left hand. - - For some of them you put your thumb in one of the shallow thumb/finger grip depressions & your fingers on the pimply non-slip area whilst for others it's your thumb on the pimples & your fingers in the depressions. - - In both cases, you'll find that the spout is lined up ready for your mouth. And the bottle has not slipped during my use of either one of mine. {I saw an earlier review that said it was all misaligned & it slipped in use so I'd say that customer was holding the bottle in their right hand.} {I also saw an earlier review saying that you could align the spout with the mouth by undoing the top a 1/4 turn. This is not necessary & I think that customer was also holding it in their right hand.} - The bottle is dishwasher safe. It is also easy to clean by hand - its diameter is 3" [75mm] & its top opening is 2" [50mm] across so I can easily get a dishbrush [https://www.amazon.co.uk/KitchenCraft-Dish-Wash-Brush-Rectangular/dp/B0001IWZS6] in there to reach the bottom and clean it effectively if I want to. - No liquid drips out of the airhole during use unless I have the bottle both full & tilted almost to the horizontal. As the liquid gets used up you need to tilt it further to make the airhole drip but the flow through the spout is never greater at such angles so there is no point tilting it that far. I only managed to get liquid out of the airhole when I was deliberately trying to do so not when I just wanted to drink from the bottle. - The bottle is marked at 50 ml intervals between 100ml & 900ml. I've drawn on a 50ml line at the bottom as a lemon squash measure but don't have any reason to do the same for 950ml, 1000ml levels. - There is no taste/aftertaste from the plastic. - There is no taste/aftertaste from the previous filling - I was using it for lemon squash then swilled it out [without any proper cleaning] before filling it with water.

Had two of these and the strap has broken off both (the second one much more quickly) but the flip top is really useful and the minimal design and markings are nice.

Have just bought a second one, the first one I've had for over a year and no leaks, dropped it a load of times and is not blown apart or cracked. Great quality and unlike most has a breather hole so it doesn't just plug out which also has a rubber seal.to prevent leaking.

J'ai commandé cette gourde pour mon fils pour l'internat je l'ai testé moi-même car elle va tout de même dans son sac aucune coulure déclarée bien hermétique partout franchement super esthétiquement elles sont super sympa autant que les couleurs je crois que je vais m'en commander une et en commander aussi une pour mon mari franchement vous pouvez acheter pas de problème

Había escrito una opinión negativa ya que al probarla comprobé que perdía el agua a borbotones pero en realidad le faltaba una válvula de plástico parecida a una ventosa pequeña que se coloca en el tapón y que evita que el líquido se salga. Se me había caído al lavarla y no me había dado cuenta. Así que mi opinión es muy buena. Buen tamaño, cómoda, hermética y sin pajita interior que acaban soltándose y haciendo las botellas rellenables inutilizables. En definitiva, recomendable

Cercavo una borraccia in plastica e resistente e che potesse contenere 1L. Questa è la migliore. Quando la apro non tocco la parte dove appoggio la bocca e quindi è igenica. Mi è caduta molte volte e resiste. Se mai dovesse rompersi la ricomprerei di sicuro. Per quelli che hanno detto che sa da plastica, io dico che i primi giorni è normale, a me è sparito dopo 1/2 giorni e non era neanche così forte o fastidioso. (poi varia da persona a persona)
