Five stars, not because these are the best brushes you will ever purchase, but because they are wonderfully consistent and useful for students ot projects you don't want to hurt your good brushes for. I've bought these several times and they always stand up to use, washing, and even a bit of abuse from the kids. The bristles are well housed; they typical begin shedding only after much use. They are strong enough to stand up to paint but also supple enough to get fairly detailed in "craft" painting. These are not for fine art or artists, but they're great for crafting or kids' tools. At the price point, I think they are perfect for what they are.

These brushes hold paint pretty well and are super easy to wash afterwards. I used them for an air dry clay project and I was on a tight budget so I ordered these and they worked beyond my expectations. I thought these were going to be little kid quality but they turn out to be really good brushes. They are really easy to use and easy to wash, you can use the smaller brushes to put into detailing work and I love that, the brushes aren't too stiff nor too flimsy so I like that. I also love the variety of sizes they offer. Overall, these are easy to use, clean and maintain, the attention to detail is easy to do with these brushes since there's so many sizes to choose from, I recommend these!
