These are just the right shape for hanging frames and photos, especially those with sawtooth-type hangers that don't have much wall clearance. Other hardwall hooks have too much prominent 'hook' shape protruding that photoframes and other items (clocks, plates etc) can't fit over. These nail in firmly into solid block walls and did not damage my plaster. The masonry nail is very strong, and the supplied finger guard is essential and works very well. Overall a very useful addition to the DIY toolkit.

These are very easy to use and discreet too. No massive holes in the wall. However, they might not be as secure as I hoped or I am also hanging picture frames that are a little too heavy, they pull out the wall easily,

I've been using these for a year and they've not failed to hold the frames I've put on them at all. The hole is almost unnoticeable too and easily hidden so these are good for rentals

I used a fairly weighty hammer and used light rapid taps (rather like a hammer drill). They went easily into an external wall using that method. They are small and unobtrusive, but sturdy. Very pleased with these, as I didn't hit my fingers when using the "holding tool" that came with them.

They are a bit bigger than the ones I'd had in the past but cant get the smaller ones for love nor money. I found these really difficult to find but so glad I have. They are so much better than the other types out there and I've tried several . The beauty of these little hooks are that there is only one nail to bang in, they are extremely sturdy and not unsightly or very visible at all, if say you are hanging a calendar on one and you can see the hook.If you do need to remove one, again because there's only one pin, it's easily done and you can even re-use it. Excellent product. Will buy again.

Really good for tapestry hanging. Used it for a few, not noticeable once up and easy to install
