Whilst there are online cite services, this book is a must to learn how to cite properly and also check online citations as they are sometimes wrong. Every student who requires to Harvard reference should have this book.

Whatever you wish to reference for university, this book will show you how across several different referencing systems, not just Harvard. Online citing pages are handy but not infallible, this provides the de facto standard for you to check your references are correct formatted.

The university I attend follows the Cite Them Right way of referencing. The book is really easy to follow with a clear layout, easy to find sections and simple steps for both in text citations and full references. For those like me, who struggle with online reading and prefer the book, it is worth purchasing. Saved a lot of hassle and hours of worrying about the new way to reference when I started Uni.

I ordered this because I have just started university and I had no clue how to reference! It is really clear to understand and it has all of the information in that you need to know. All of my lecturers recommended this and it is definitely worth the money. :)

Yes this is my bible, as recommended to me by many others and would continue to recommend to all I know as good guidance on referencing. Handy to have on the shelf next to computer for assignments etc as gives clear guidance and help all in handy sized book.

this is what you need when getting back in the study saddle, it really has an example of everything you may come accross when writing an assessment for uni. It is clear and easy to follow.

This book is great if you use Harvard style referencing. I'd skip it if you use APA or something else, as a majority of the text is for Harvard style. It spells everything out so easily! Found a website to cite? It tells you how. Found a verse in the Bible? Yes, it tells you how to cite it. Found a conference paper from 1992? Yep, it tells you how. If you want to know how to cite basically ANY resource, this book will tell you how. It has an index that quickly gets you to the right page and then tells you both how to reference in text and in your references section. What else is there to say? I'd bet it's saved me hours if you were to add all the time up.

This book does exactly what it's supposed to do, which is get you to cite correctly in Harvard format. Very easy to use from an index and table of contents view point. David

This is a really useful book to own if you are in University in the UK using Harvard referencing. Easy to use.

A little rough around the edges but still very usable.
