I was looking for three things in a thread case - 1. It closes so the dust doesn't get in 2. Long enough pin so I can store the bobbin with the matching thread and 3. I can easily see the colors to pick what I needed. This met all those requirements. It also seems sturdy and holds my larger threads. It's a bit expensive but I think well worth it.

I love this thread storage satchel. We have a lot of mice in the house (working on that!) and this thread box works well. I had another one that had two sides for thread and not only did it hold fewer spools they always fell out and the box didn't stay shut. This one locks nicely and the thread spools stay put, clean and mouse free. Very sturdy. It may seem a bit pricey but it is worth it.

The perfect case for organizing threads for paper and hand piecing. If you can’t see your threads, you can’t use them. This case was used to blend threads from two stashes by color. The case holds, by my count 108 spools - two internal trays each holding 54 spools in 5 rows: 11 per row on the outer 4 rows and 10 in the inner row. The clasps are sturdy and the handle folds out of the way. The case will keep these beautiful threads dust free. These quality threads keep well and are gradually used over decades so this is key advantage to this type of case. This case is sturdy enough to last beyond my own sewing career and pass along to another quilter I looked over a lot of thread storage solutions. This case beautifully organizes the Gutterman and Mettler threads - both the small 150M and medium 200M, 250M, 500M and 800M all fit well. Had 2 YLI pearl cotton 100 yard spools and they also easily fit this case. This was the perfect solution for organizing the type and quantity of threads from two stashes. The case is a good value as high quality thread is not inexpensive. Ordering the colors revealed duplicates and gaps between the two sets. Every spool is now visible and at the ready for English paper piecing and appliqué sewing projects.

This case is really good. For the thin/narrow threads it will hold a whole case of them. However, if you have a standard thread bobbin, they will not fit on every peg as they are too big so you might have to get more cases. Even with this problem, I recommend this case as it is sturdy, stackable, and secure with two latches. I did have a problem with the seller sending the wrong item, but they fixed it the next day and I received the correct product two days later without having to return the wrong product, get a refund, and then reorder the item. Very convenient for me.

I was thrilled to receive this a day earlier than expected, and it is exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this product for anyone who has a lot of thread they need to keep neatly stored. Holds my thread nicely- I do a lot of sewing and quilting. This satchel now holds all my quilting threads, and I may get another to hold some additional all-purpose threads I have. I was able to put the corresponding bobbins underneath the spools of thread. The depth of the satchel even accommodates larger thread spools with bobbins under. Some of my largest spools are 2.5 inches high and, and the bobbins fit underThe spindles are a little close together, but you can fit more spools in if you alternate small and large spools. I did not do that in my satchel, because I like to separate my spools by rayon, variegated cotton, metallic, etc. If I alternated large and small, I could definitely fit almost twice as much thread in the satchel. Easy to store - I previously had my thread on a wooden thread holder with little wooden spindles. The spindles were too short for the larger spools, especially when I wanted to put the corresponding bobbins with the thread spools. And I always had a difficult time storing it, because it folds out like an easel and takes up a lot of space. With the satchel I am able to close and lock the lid, and I can store it vertically if needed. After I loaded the thread spools, I closed the lid and flipped the satchel upside down as a test. None of my spools came off the spindles. Removable trays - The trays have little finger grips to make removal from the satchel easy. This feature comes in handy if I want to take only part of my thread stash to my sewing table. Good value - It is a good price, comparable to other stores, but the shopping experience is easier of course.

I have mixed feelings about this product which is why I'm giving only three stars. The pro is that the box is sturdy even after I added 65 spools. I generally like Art Bin products and find them durable. The cons are that you have to temper your expectations about how many spools it will hold. The majority of my spools are 250 and 500 yd Coates and Coates. I fit about 50 of those and then a dozen smaller diameter spools. The diameter of the spools means I can only use every other spindle. The label on the box says it will hold 224 20mm spools. There are only 99 spindles so I don't know where you put 224. I think if all your thread is Gutterman, which to my mind has the smallest diameter spool, you probably can fit one on each spindle but still that's only 99, not the advertised 224. The picture on the box shows only about 99 spools, not 224, spools in the box. I like this box enough that I will probably buy another but now I know what Expectations to have. The picture on the box of course shows two spool boxes. I knew I was getting only one, but that's something to be mindful of, too.

Le transport est parfait, les bobines ne bougent pas.Autre plus, les 2 supports qui se trouvent dans la mallette peuvent être sortis.On peut donc poser les bobines prêt de soi pendant le travail.On peut aussi envisager de ne les ranger dans la mallette que lorsqu'on se déplace, et trouver un endroit autour de son espace de travail pour stocker les supports et ainsi gagner du temps lorsqu'on travaille sur plusieurs couleurs sans que les bobines ne traînent sur l’espace de travail.Pourquoi pas poser ces supports sur une étagère dédiée, à portée de main par exemple. Je pense très sérieusement à en commander une autre pour ranger mes bobines de fils pour brodeuse!

Das ist jetzt schon die vierte Box, eine für Overlockgarne (hohe Konen) und dann drei Stück dieser stabilen und praktischen und - ganz wichtig - stapelbaren Box. Für mich absolut empfehlenswert! Man kann dort von kleinen Rollen bis zu Miniking alles unterbringen. Von den kleinen, kurzen Rollen (z. B. 400m Madeira) kriegt man sogar zwei Stück übereinander. Nur muss ich jetzt hier noch reinschreiben, dass beim Verkäufer - hier Amazon UK - nicht ordentlich eingepackt wurde. Die Box wurde ohne weiteren Schutz nur in eine Papierverpackung (kein Karton oder gepolsterte Tasche!) gesteckt. Sie hat keinen Schaden genommen, was aber nicht überall der Fall sein muss. je nachdem wie das Teil während des Versandweges behandelt wird. Die Verpackung hat aber nichts mit der Qualität des Artikels zu tun, daher kein Abzug.

Es muy resistente y caben muchos hilos ya que entre las hileras puedes poner más. Esta excelente para organizar y trae una agarradera tipo maletín para poder transportarlo más fácilmente.

I used to keep my thread in an organizer that was too small and they were always getting mixed up. Now I can arrange by colour. I have more than the box is made to accept but you can fit the smaller spools in between others, so I probably managed to get 100 spools in. And when you close the lid, you can take it on the road and the spools stay fit. It seems expensive but it is well made and fills a need so I don’t regret it at all.

Dopo tanti anni finalmente ho trovato un contenitore per tenere tutte le spagnolette di filo in ordine e facilmente individuabili. Le ho sempre tenute in un cestino, ma si aggrovigliavano sempre l'una all'altra e quando dovevo sceglierne una di un certo colore che magari era in fondo dovevo tirarle fuori tutte e sgrovigliarle ... un casino. Questo contenitore è grande, robusto, i rotolini stanno tutti in piedi ed in ordine e si trova facilmente quello che si vuole. Forse è un po' troppo grande e non è facile trovare un posto dove riporlo, però una volta trovato è veramente utile e pratico. E' fatto a valigetta ed anche durante il trasporto le spagnolette rimangono al loro posto. Consiglio l'acquisto. Imballaggio adeguato e consegna puntuale.
