Easy install
Good quality and value My old one was cracked in half and the boat was fairly tight against the V. I would suggest using a 4x4 or install the next time the boat is off the trailer. Don’t go by my example. but my boat is pretty balanced on the trailer So all We had to do is just apply enough force to take the weight off the V and I quickly installed the new one ( nut was off,the bolt and ready to go). (And I was ready with a hammer and channel locks to bang it in place and a pry bar in case the two mounting bars closed together too much) ( the players were in case the bolt was stuck too tight in the rubber so I could twist and pull the bolt out) we lifted, I tapped it in place so I could see light through the bolt hole, tapped the bolt through the hole( keeping hands away) and let the boat down, tightened the nut and done. Mine is a 3x3 inch at the square area not adding the V portion, so make sure to measure yours before ordering. I don’t think it matters much if the V fits any bow perfect? Most of the 29 foot boat’s I’ve owned I don’t think ever matched up perfect.Best of luck.

Well worth the price
It’s been about a year and mine has broken. I’m not mad though because I’m kind of rough on it. I have mine on a trailer for use with my aluminum river boat. A lot of times I launch shallow so when I’m trying to get it on the trailer I’m usually coming in pretty hot. For the money I can’t complain. I just bought 2 more, and if I only have to replace it once a year, then I’m a happy customer.

Rubber is nice and pliable. Exact same as my old one that went hard and brittle.
