This works as a storage solution for shoes. It would not be so great if I wanted to take these shoes out often and put them back in. For that you really should get a solid rack. The rack is plenty sturdy enough to hold shoes. Each box is only 9in depth x 9in height so if you wear bigger shoe sizes your shoes won't fit. My shoes pictured are between 8.5 - 9.5. The boots were the toughest to fit in. They're kinda wedged in there so, once again, if I had to take them out often this wouldn't be great. The whole thing swings as you put stuff in. To counter that I put the heaviest things at the bottom. That lends it some stability. The side pockets are... there? I mean for a dollar extra, why not? They're not on all the sides just a few of them. Assembly is easy and intuitive. Just run the hooks from the inside of the top box and slide the extra washer over the hook from the top, then hang away. I've also binder clipped one of the boxes because my closet is too short.

It was great while it lasted but didn’t hold up. After filling the baskets, it wasn’t long before the entire thing ripped and fell. It would be good for small items, but not sturdy enough for clothing storage.

This is a perfect closet space saver for my son in his dorm room. The quality seems good and it didn't break the bank. He will use this for his shoes and sweatshirts that he doesn't want hung up.

This closet is super helpful especially if you’re forming. There is lots of storage room and it decreased my closet clutter by half! I especially like how you can choose where you want to put your drawers. Totally recommend!
