This is as good as the original that I just replaced. This is the second AC Delco starter I bought for a GM vehicle. Much better price than the part stores.

Perfect fit, works great. Seems to be just like the original.

Is there a warranty, yes. Can I have it replaced again, sure, after the 2nd one I won’t though. Warranty is through Delco so be prepared for that and not the ease of prime shipping. Terrible to replace on a Hummer H3, so for the third time replacing it I bought an original that has already lasted longer then the first 2 of these. Just saying.

I purchased this new starter for my wife's 2005 GMC Envoy SLT with the 4.2L engine. It is a little difficult to install just because the mounting nut on the back side is extremely difficult to reach. It definitely helps if you have a helper. Another trick is to remove the left front wheel, flip up the rubber flap and you will be staring straight at the starter. The nut is still tough to reach though. This part was brand new and not refurbished and it was $70 cheaper than my local auto parts stores. Plus I didn't have to mess with a core charge. It took me about an hour to replace the bad starter with this one and the car started right up and has been running great.

Fit my 2002 trailblazer ltz 2wd 4.2L. The solenoid was clocked different than the one i pulled off. Also it says its new but on the side of the starter itself (pic) it says remanufactured. I removed it from the top side of the hood. Taking the wheel off did not help gain any better access. You can sort of access it from underneath, i found there was enough room to come from the top. Still a great price and arrived in an acdelco box.
