Great little travel companion, great for EDC
I picked up the KableCARD from Amazon because I felt the small size yet broad range of features would be ideal for travel. Rather than carrying around a USB hub and separate cables for Android and Apple devices, I have just this one tiny kit now and can leave the other cables in my carry on. Switching to local phone service at international destinations is also a breeze now that I have a sim ejector tool and two sim card trays. I now have a safe and secure space to keep my primary sim card when I make the switch. (no more lost sim card anxiety for me) I do IT work as well and have found that the card slots in quite nicely with the rest of my technician's kit. KableCARD is especially useful when paired with a battery backup, the short cable and multiple connectors come in handy. The one downside to me is that the cover doesn't open all the way or fold flat. I get it that the cover's angle is to facilitate use of the device as a phone stand but would much rather be able to fully access all of my tools without obstruction. So I snapped the cover off completely. Now it's perfect. :)

Not as bad as some of these reviews but room for improvement.
I bought this thing to be a compliment to my battery I carry with me. I usually carry a bunch of cables and wanted something more compact. After looking at several simliar devices this one caught my eye because of the features. Although I don't use multiple SIMcards I thought it might come in handy. The flash light seems like a good idea. But I liked the built in SD card reader and the wireless charger. First impression: It is smaller than I expected. It is literally the footprint of a credit card. Only much thicker. You would have to have a unique wallet to hold this and I don't think it would hold up to being carried in a back pocket. Some reviews said this thing is cheaply made. I don't agree with that, It is well engineered. It is just very fragile. Using this device requires a light touch. It is not made for everyday use unless you are careful or using it sparingly. But it does work. I think it was intended for travel, and it keeps clutter to a bare minimum. Yes the cable is short. About 11 inches. But if you connecting to a battery unit you don't really need all that much cable. I think they also sell a longer cable in a card format that I assume can be used with this device. The Insides: A short USB-C to USB-C cable. It's about 11 inches total. USB-C to Lightening adapter USB-C to Micro USB adapter USB-C to USB-A adapter SIM ejector tool Flash light 2 SImcard slots 1 SDcard slot Wireless charger plate The cable that fits in to the device is plugged in to a socket that provide power to the flash when it is connected to a battery or AC adapter, and also connects the SDcard slot. The cable is removable completely to be used as a seperate cable. The Final Impression: I think it is worth the money. It has a lot of nifty features and is very "swiss army knife" if you like that sort of thing. I expect to be able to use most of the features. Particularly the cables and adaters for charging. The feature I like most if the SDcard reader. If you pop in a large capacity SDcard this thing is pretty much a flash drive. I tested the wireless charging feature. It seems to work well. I am surprised given the size of this device. My only concern would be heat. It does get pretty warm I noticed. So I would be careful not to charge for too long. What I don't like: The hinged door only opens 60 degrees. It does this so the device can be used as a cradle for your phone. But it makes getting the adapters out of their sockets very difficult. Especially the USB-A adapter set way in the back. My ideal design would be slightly bigger footprint. Instead of 2x3 maybe 3x5. Longer cable, the door would open all the way back. Built in rechargable battery to drive the flashlight. Instead of 2 SIM card slots, maybe 1 SIM sholder and 1 SDcard holder. Maybe an SD card reader instead of MicroSD card. (Not that big a deal) More rigged plastic. But all in all, I would recommend this device to those who have the need. It is small enough to be carried in the same case as my battery. Definetely designed for travel or light use. I will use it for EDC when at work or on the go. I will add an adden. to this based on the longevity of the device.

Worth it to keep bulk down
I really like how compact this is, it keeps a charging cable and adapters handy in a minimal package that fits anywhere. My only issue is that the lid seems a bit flimsy and it doesn’t open all the way (this is deliberate so it can act as a phone stand). Still very convenient overall, and still worth 5 stars.

Nice for travel
Be verycareful with this thing. The door is pretty flimsy, but if you are careful, this is a really handy travel companion. Does a lot of different things and comes with just the right adapters to do anything youd want to do while traveling. The light only works when its plugged in, it wont work as a stand alone flashlight. The hinged door only opens to 60 degrees which makes getting some stuff out a little more difficult than id like, but overall, this thing is awesome.

Materials feel cheap
The card is very handy in a pinch. It's super compact amd lightweight. Provides lightning, micro usb, usbc, usba, adapters, a tool for sim card removal, two sim card storage slots, an interior ambient light, and wireless charging for devices when plugged in to a power source. Case materials feel cheap and fragile. Seems easy to tip when used as a phone stand. Would be cool if it held power and was built sturdier.

This thing is great!
First off don’t think of this device as something to use everyday. The case is a fairly flimsy plastic and the usb-c cable is pretty short, making it not terribly useful when it comes to charging all the time. But if you are using it like I am (as something that is always in my bag for any tech related emergency), then this is a wonderful item! It is so versatile and useful for travel or for everyday back up. This coupled with a backup battery (especially one that can power a MacBook) can help solve any issue needed when out and about. The wireless charging isn’t the best, but the fact that it is there and can charge through a fairly rugged case is nonetheless impressive. For travel, it is a game changer. For an everyday tech bag, it is essential!

Look, after a trip to NZ, I finally bought this little buddy. It has all of the cables you need, in a small, 4 credit card and one Medicare card (bumpy thick writing) size. It's got wireless charging, a lamp, a microSD card reader (!!), Sim tray tool, storage for your Sim cards, an (okay quality) USBC cable, dongles for your USB cable - an A (rectangle), a Micro (the old one that charges some phones, headphones etc) and a lightning (iPhones etc.) You'll still need a big wall plug. The torch: holy flip it's bright. It's a really nice bit of kit that I have in my work bag (and it goes in my eshay bag when I go out, because - battery sucks). Downside, shipping takes a lil while. If you're like me, and you had it in your saved for later pile, if you are going on a long trip, or overseas etc, go do yaself a favour.

One tiny criticism is that it needs to be plugged in to use the torch, if it's somehow possible to add a battery that would make it so much better but chances are if I need to use the torch I'd have to plug it into my phone or battery pack which both have torches anyway. HOWEVER: Everything else is perfect. The amount of features packed into such a tiny package is so impressive, the quality is shockingly good.
