Great affordable product
If you’re looking for a great product that doesn’t break the bank, these cat boxes are amazing and they’re large enough for my 18 pound cat. I purchased one OHM Pets XL Cat Litter Box Stainless Steel - Non Stick Extra Large Stainless Steel, Rust-Proof Metal, Kitty Litter Box, Anti-Leak with High Sides, Non-Slip Rubber Feet, White a bit over a month ago, I recently ordered 2 more they arrived today. The ease of cleaning the litter box is amazing. Everything just slides out. This is by far the best cat box

High quality litter box that solves numerous issues. Do your cats and the environment a favor!
We’ve been using 3 of these high quality litter boxes for the last 9 months. They have exceeded my expectations and I can attest to the durability and solid construction as well as the quality of the stainless steel. There are very minimal scratches from the cats claws on the bottom, it still almost looks new. It’s very easy to use with clumping clay litter and a simple Petmate plastic scooper. The interior surfaces are rounded making it easy to scoop from and clean and the clumps are not sticking to the bottom at all. I’ve scrubbed it monthly with a scotchbrite sponge and unscented dishwashing liquid and it cleans perfectly with zero remaining smells or staining. We were having a lot of issues with previous plastic litter boxes; they always smelled and the gouges in the plastic from their claws attracted insects but these Ohm boxes have been a game changer! Highly recommended.

Excellent Cat Litter Box! Outstanding! Unfortunately, My Cat Overshoots It.
Although priced a bit high, this litter box is nothing less than outstanding. It is amazingly lightweight (without litter, of course), but is very sturdy and completely nonstick on the inside. Before I ordered it I searched out all kinds of metal boxes to replace the former plastic storage boxes I had been using. Plastic, unfortunately, is not recyclable; in addition, it picks up odors at some point regardless of how often it is cleaned. I measured the current plastic box and it was exactly the same size as this so I knew it would work. My two current cats keep to the box size and do not spread litter outside but if your cat is vigorous about covering up this box may not work because the sides are six inches high. I did write to the company and suggest they also offer boxes with 8-9 inch sides. They said I wasn't the first to ask and they were considering it. (I wonder why; it seems there is a need for it and you'd think any company would want to take advantage of a consumer need.) So if you need higher sides, contact the company! But if six inches works for you, I can and do recommend this particular box. It is superb! UPDATE: The box itself is incredible. Unfortunately, my cats are getting older and at least one is now standing "taller" to urinate. The six-inch depth is not doing it. Frustrated this morning, I again wrote to the company on their FB page and strongly suggested they offer 12-inch sides on three sides. Then I came on Amazon to look around some more at plastic just because I am so desperate. Wonder of wonders, I found something that looks exactly like what I want: iPrimio Ultimate Stainless Steel Cat XL Litter Box ($60). It is steel, at least the box is, and it has a detachable top that adds six more inches to the three sides. It has been ordered and will be here in two days. I will review that of course. I really hope it works. Now I am considering a mat to help with the litter that sticks in their paws and gets on the floor.

Works for a Big, Grumpy Himalayan Cat
After a few years of rough use and eventually cracking an old plastic litter pan, our big, grumpy Himalayan (who bangs on the pan with his huge paws when digging and covering) was in desperate need of a new one. After researching the pros and cons of stainless steel litter pans, we decided to spend the extra cost on one to take advantage of strength, longer use life, and eliminating eventual plastic odor absorption and urine staining. The pan arrived safely in a very large box with additional packing and no dents or scratches. Our cat took to using the pan immediately and has so far been unable to damage it. Although he continues to bang on the pan when digging and covering, the sound has not been amplified via the metal pan. Our previous plastic pan was a bit more square with width and had gradual sloping high walls along the sides and back. The lack of these elements on this pan has not deterred our cat from using this more rectangular pan. We think he can move around more easily in this pan. A nice feature of this pan is that it sits on circular rubber pads which keep it directly off the floor. Our cat doesn't stand and urinate over the pan walls, but this is a nice feature to prevent urine from puddling underneath making cleanup much easier in the event of it happening. As reported with all stainless steel pans (without a non-stick coating), we have noticed that urine clumps from clumping litter can occasionally stick to the bottom. This can be annoying, but not a show stopper from obtaining a stainless steel pan (we've seen this with plastic pans in the past). We use a plastic scooper to clean the pan and haven't noticed any scratches to the pan from it (even when removing the occasional stuck clumps). With regards to non-stick coated stainless steel pans, we opted to go with the non-coated type based on some reviews of them which indicated scratching from paws and scoopers and the fact that in our opinion (no scientific facts on this, just our choice), non-stick coatings may not be healthy in the long run for our cat. Overall, this pan is highly recommended, and we hope for the extra cost investment in it, we can enjoy extended use life and freedom from embedded stains/odors.

Best Litter Box!
What a GREAT litter box! Its large, deep and nothing sticks to it. Its very easy to clean and does not absorb any of the litter box odors. I love that it doesn't slide all over the floor. Its very well made with heavy stainless steel and the edge is smooth and very well finished off. It costs a bit more then the plastic ones, but this is so much better for me and the cats because it stays so clean and odor free. What's the point of putting clean litter into a plastic box that smells no matter how well you clean it! I'm getting a second one, since I have 3 cats and 2 litter boxes.

roomy, easy to clean
This is my second ohm litter box, purchased for our newly adopted cat. I was happy with the first ohm box, so decided to get the identical one for the second cat. He immediately started using it, even though he was used to a closed litter box design at the shelter. It is nice and roomy, doesn’t keep any bad smells since it’s not plastic, and easy to keep clean. The first one I got has lasted three years so far, and it still looks like new. I would definitely recommend this box, and both cats give it two claws up. 🐈⬛🐈⬛

4 years in - here is my review
I’ve owned this for 4 years and the pros are: XL - great for cats who spend a lot of time digging around, or for 2 cats who share and want to avoid the other cat’s litter Sturdy, durable, high quality Cons: It is SO HARD to clean because it is not non-stick at all. Cat pee sticks to the sides and bottom like crazy and even to take all of the litter out and deep clean is such a hassle because of how hard the cat pee is glued to the walls.

Much better than replacing plastic boxes quarterly.
We have a very long cat and the box size is almost purrrrfect for him, . I also find this pan is easier for a total dumping of old litter and the box is extremely easy to clean and dry. I don't really like the plastic guard but without it the pan is far to shallow. I also saw that it is starting to rust and i use a good quality of litter.
