Good value
Good flavor price is good. We use it in many dishes, flavor is a little stronger than others I have used but I just adjusted down quality a little.

Great taste! My new favorite brand of cooking wine
My mom always told me never to use cooking wine because of how salty it is. But for economical reasons I started using the small bottles of cooking Marsala at the grocery store. After a long time of loving it even more than regular wine (I prefer Dry to sweet anyway, and this type is definitely dry) I decided I would try to buy bigger containers of it to cause less waste. This was actually even better than Holland House or store brands in addition to being a very economical size and (somewhat) price. I believe the shipping is tacked on the price for this one so it can advertise "free shipping," cause I've tried to find this at other stores online and it's available for cheaper--but with shipping that is more expensive than the bottle. I would say if you're only used to actual Marsala wine then don't buy this as your first attempt at cooking wine. I used to mix cooking wine and real wine half and half to make sure I wouldn't ruin my chicken before I fully switched over. I felt I had to leave a review after reading about that guy who said he actually DRANK marsala...... Gross. And him drinking this cooking wine?? Even grosser!! If you're not uppity about what you use to make Marsala dishes then definitely get this. It is salty so I never add salt to my dishes when cooking with it. Comes out delicious every single time. Definitely recommend.

Decent for the price. Not as good as Sheffield

Favorite cooking wine
Living in NY in an Italian 'hood, I always had access to marsala by the gallon. Since moving to west coast, I'd only found expensive fifths. This is a gallon at a decent price, & I even like that it's salted--keeps kids from using it up. It's good with just about any poultry, meat, even fish.

Makes good chicken Lombardi
I reviewed earlier and commented about how the stuff tasted salty like Galveston beach water. However, it has worked well with cooking. I'll buy again. (Two years later) I'm reordering. I am getting low and don't want to run out. I use this to make chicken Lombardi for my wife and she just commented that my last effort was the best ever. She loves the stuff. I suspect it still tastes like beach water, but if Momma is happy . . .

Great Ingredient
One of my wife’s favorite dishes is chicken marsala. I tried several times to replicate the flavor from our favorite Italian restaurant but could never get the flavor right using other Marsala’s from the stores locally. This is it, delicious

I'm no snob but this stuff doesn't taste right, it ruined the sauce made with it!
I made Brian Lagerstrom's mushroom marsala over chicken recipe and it was amazing. I made it with the stuff you get from Walmart (Holland House). I got this to get some wine in bulk because my wife and I wanted to make the mushroom marsala sauce a household staple and wow did this stuff disappoint. I was a bit skeptical so I took a swig to compare taste. Normal Marsala is a one two punch of wine then sweet brandy sneaks up and lingers on the tongue. This stuff tasted like white wine with sugar dumped in, brief flavor and then gone. Barely if no brandy taste at all. I cooked with it anyway keeping my disappointment to myself to gauge my wife's response. I was amazed how using this stuff took the lingering savory goodness of my marsala sauce and turned it into a one note garbage. My wife went from saying "wow this is amazing!" with the other brand to "it's edible thanks for feeding me." I'm disappointed to say the least. Both my wife and I noticed a major difference. It barely justifies the space in my fridge, might end up dumping it. Tried to save a few bucks and lost 20...

Amazing buy and fast delivery
I cook a lot with Marsala wine and found it frustrating attempting to find this item locally. I started checking on line, and found none at a reasonable price that I could afford due to the excessive shipping charges tacked on. This product was so reasonably priced through this company! I ordered one, tried it in my Marsala recipes, family and friends loved it, so I came back and ordered the last one for fear the company would not list it at this price again! Excellent product, extremely fast shipping, and I am beyond satisfied!
