As described
Easy to use, many grinding types available. Does not take much room and is not noisy. The main thing now is to see if it will be durable. Time will tell.

This is the real deal!
The Capresso 570.01 Infinity Plus burr grinder is quiet, quick, and produces uniform grinds that give excellent results, from very fine Turkish to coarse French press, with espresso somewhere in between. Finding just the right grind for espresso does take some experimenting, but the results are worth it. An added bonus: replacement burrs and other parts are available from Capresso.

More Expensive, But Worth it!
My last Capresso went bottoms up. Major bummer as we really liked it. Bought a less expensive one to replace it and returned it. It just couldn't match the Capresso so I ordered another Capresso. Pros: It grinds any amount from one cup to twelve cups and anything in between. Grind is always consistent wither i'm making espresso, French press, or something in between. The container the ground beans fall into is easy to use and remove. Hopper is easy to fill and remove for cleaning. Quieter that other grinders. Cons: More expensive. Difficult to clean the burrs, but I think that may apply to most burr grinders. Easy to put together wrong after cleaning. We've had to replace two Capressos over the years. I con't know how this compared to other grinders. When this one goes, I'll be looking for a Capresso to replace it.

I like it a lot.
The only thing is it starts grinding immediately even before you have chosen the number which means time of the grind, in this case. Annoying.

Quiet, Consistent Grind Size, & Easy to Use
This is a very simple to use grinder. It is reasonably quiet and has a consistent grind size. I use this for a drip coffee maker. The only negative I have found is that once the hopper is filled it is difficult to empty it if beans are remaining and you want to change to a different type. The first time I removed the hopper with beans in it they spilled all over the counter.

Motor broke after 10 months
I've had no problems with this grinder until a month ago. I decided that it was time for a DEEP cleaning. After doing so, the motor worked for 1 1/2 loads of beans and quit. I had half a container left and it stopped mid grind. I purchased the cleaning pellets (not realizing they were pellets) and the motor was silent. So if you want a grinder that works for less than a year, go for it! Otherwise, I'd look for another.

Great burr coffee bean grinder
Love this coffee grinder. Has settings from course all the way down to super fine for different types of brewing methods as well as espresso. Burr grinder really does make a difference in the quality and consistency of ground bean. I have another one but I moved and it’s in storage so I purchased a second one bc I like it so much. Worth the $ 😃

Cleaning thoughts, etc.
I've used the grinder three times and am learning the routine. First, if you are using dark roast (as I am), be prepared to follow the daily cleaning directions, as the lower burr tends to collect some of the grind. Also, have another receptacle handy for catching the grounds, upper burr, brush(es), and possibly the ground coffee container, plus other miscellaneous items you might think to use. You should really have a separate space that you devote solely for the coffee project, because the miscellaneous grounds tend to occupy the work area, despite best efforts. Lastly, I wouldn't recommend buying a grinder (or at least this one) if you are rushed. All of above is somewhat time consuming. As to taste results, very happy. Coffee grinder review (update). 7/i6/2020 Purchased in May, 2020 from third party seller Lifestyle by Focus through Amazon. On July 6 it stopped operating (would not grind). Checked manual and called number listed, but after considerable wait the message gave a quick email address which I didn’t catch. Rather than wait again for message end, I decided to consult Google for address or another phone number. Thus began an hours/day long search, checking Amazon’s considerable information (since grinder out of 30 day return time period), calling various numbers, filling out Contact information forms and in general getting nowhere. The following day I responded to an address which brought up a form and also a Chat opportunity, which I grabbed onto as a “last resort.” After a few minutes (?) wait, typing appeared with numerous questions to which I responded. Eventually rep sent message saying she was sending me a form which would provide a quick response/answer. Yes, $5.00 please. Out of that I went and back to another try with seller. This time I was given the phone number for Customer Service which I had tried without success previous day. I asked if another number available. Lo and behold, a number that worked! Actually was able to talk to Mike (800 220-5701 at Jura), whose instructions helped me unfreeze the unit. After conversation’s end, I immediately tried to operate machine. However, the coffee bean container would not seat properly, so another call back and another representative on phone. You know how some people are just naturally born instructors and others are not? Got one of the latter. Nike quickly understood my difficulty and began giving me instructions as to what to look for on the bean container. Trying to understand viewing an object and the explanation of its minute parts left me with several questions and him with patience tested. We finally came to a mutual agreement of the object in question and he diagnosed the problem as a broken lip, took my information and promised to send a replacement. Will see if that fixes the problem! Have no idea how all occurred in first place! 7/16/2020 Bean container arrived from Jura but does not sit snugly in place. Upon examining the interior slit where lip of container apparently goes, there is some (cream colored) plastic in part of the area. Phoned above number and talked to Michelle (?). She explained two im- portant items: 1). the metal part of the upper burr has to be facing down. 2). The slot itself moves back and forth. The right side of it ought to end at about 2:00 o’clock. Other information: To stop grinding, don’t turn cup selector knob. Instead, grab container securely and rotate it back to red dot (where both reds line up). Grinder will shut off. After all is said, the bottom line is that Jura was very accommodating, once I was able to reach them!

I like my French Roast dark coffee beans. Been grinding for decades. After 6yrs of my previous grinder, beans had issues going to the burr. After great reviews with this one I've ordered had same issue. So back in the box it went. Was just about to order another brand till I saw a hack on YouTube to clean your burr grinders. That's for all grinders btw. Use Minute Rice. Look up the hack BEFORE doing this. Totally Works! The tablets they sell at 35$ will last you 5 cleaning only. Might as well buy a grinder right! Well the Minute Rice absorbed all the oils n cleaned the whole burr. Oily beans are harder to clean any grinder n you just can get away with it. But heh, I like my dark French Roast.
