Sun Bum Original SPF 15 Sunscreen Body Lotion

This sunscreen smells so good. The lotion rubs in well, and it protects against the sun.

I purchased Sun Bum Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion in 15, 30, and 50 SPF for a week-long beach vacation. I began the week using the 50, and gradually transitioned to the lower SPF lotions in less likely to burn areas as the week progressed. I'm ecstatic to report that I didn't even get the slightest bit of sunburn the entire week, despite spending nearly all day every day on the beach, on the deck of a boat, or splashing around in the ocean! I re-applied once per day after extended time in the water. The lotion went on smoothly and absorbed into the skin well. It didn't leave a sticky or a white residue as many sunscreens do. It also moisturized well. I didn't have any trouble with peeling or flaking skin the entire week. I loved the beachy scent of this lotion. It was mild enough that it wasn't overpowering, with just the perfect level of coconut-y scent.

This is easily my favorite sunblock ever. I love the scent, the texture, and the protection it provides. I'm tan so I don't need a high SPF, however my husband does since he has fair skin. He loves this product, too. The SPF15 provides me a nice amount of protection in that I don't feel any part of my skin burning, but I do get a nice tan. Never walked away with a sunburn. My husband loves this because this is one of the few products he can apply and it'll stay put (although I don't think it's waterproof), and he can walk away without burning. The SPF 15 gives him protection but still allows him to tan. Although with the sun getting more intense, or him being out a lot longer, he will move to the SPF 35. I have to apply this as often as any other sunscreen, but I can say the quality of this if way better than anything else I've used. I haven't used any of the other Sun Bum products, but the sunscreen is definitely a win!

I love this sun tan lotion. I have done my research and as far as the amount of bad chemicals that most of these come with; this one doesn't come with as many. I still think it isn't as clean as it could be but it's a great brand. As far as protection, it works!

Love the sunscreen! Just be aware that you need to reapply after swimming and/or after 90 minutes. Nice scent, soaks in quickly.

It has a nice tropical fragrance (banana or coconut?), and definitely provides protection (moreso than other SPF 15s I've tried). BUT, it is kind of thick and hard to spread. Doesn't blend in to your skin that easily like the Hawaiian Tropic I've used. Perhaps this will make it last longer and more waterproof than the other brands, so it is fine.

I LOVE Sun Bum. All of their products. And this one right here is my all-time fav. Smells amazing, protects your skin like crazy, doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy/coated and blends sooo easily. Also, with my eczema prone skin - this product is great and doesn't leave me with hives or feeling itchy. Water-proof for the most part, sweat adds a bit of a different story if you sweat immediately after applying you might get some white sweat beads, but nothing crazy. I love Sun Bum and all of their stuff and would recommend to anyone &&& will continue to buy.
