Needs better packaging.
The E-Z curl bar is exactly what I wanted. The price is great. No problems there. The only con is that the packaging needs improving. It was shipped in a nice heavy tube but there was a very flimsy capping on both ends. During shipping, the bar must have broken through both ends. That really was not a too much of a problem for me but I'm sure the delivery driver was not too happy about it. My bar was delivered into the lobby of my building. If it were delivered to a house, I think the porch privates would have a field day with it. Update: i just noticed that one of the collars became missing in transit. Did I mention the flimsy end caps on the tube it was delivered in? Yeah, that happened.

Solid Curl Bar, but Grip Is Too Aggressive
The bar itself is solid and feels well made. It weighs about 10 lbs, which is good to know when loading plates, and the threading holds collars securely. My only complaint is the grip. The knurling is very rough and feels over-ground, especially during longer workouts. Gloves help, but it’s something to be aware of. Overall, it’s a sturdy curl bar that does the job well, just held back slightly by the overly aggressive grip.

Good Value for a Standard Piece of Equipment
It's a well put together curl bar for standard (1") weights. I prefer the screw on ends rather than the clamps because they feel more sturdy which is what this bar features. It has a black coating that I suspect may chip over time (as I would expect any such coating to do with regular use) and will only make it look rugged as you curl for the girls. Don't need to spend more on other models...this is what you're looking for.

A real bargain!
This curl bar is a work of ART! It's a precision-like bodybuilding tool in both appearance and function. The angles are gentle making it more universally useful for arm work, chest, or shoulders. It's a great addition to my gym gear for an unbelievable 27 bucks!
