Tasty and good quality butter beans
I was tentative to start with. The beans looked good but until cooked i didn't know whether they would be soft on the outside. They delivered at every point! Texture, softness and a good price for the two packs.

Skins remain a little resistant after ample soaking, perhaps it is normal for 'giants;. Otherwise fine.

Awful - bitter beans
Awful - beans ruined Easter lunch. After soaking overnight, precooking for 20 mins and then 4 hours in the oven they were embers bitter and inedible. Such a shame, wish I had read the reviews.

Perfect for traditional Roscón de Reyes
I bought these beans to use in a traditional Spanish Roscón de Reyes, and they were exactly what I needed. Perfect size and clean, and they worked great for the classic tradition (one bean hidden inside).

Good price, could be fresher
I am an expert bean eater and the beans I got were not particularly fresh. They worked out ok for me as I cook them in an instant pot and that makes all beans much easier to digest but if you cooked them in conventional pot they may end up a bit hard and difficult to digest. It may have just been the batch, I may buy again to check as the price is good.
