This sensor measures the air quality in your truck cabin. If it detects low or high temperatures it makes adjustments to your climate control system when placed in automatic. This sensor will also determine whether you get heat or cool with a remote starter system. The sensor is located in the headliner usually on the driver side and is often mistaken as a small speaker or microphone for the OnStar. You will often hear a small buzzing or fan like sound when it begins to fail. This same part at the dealership is over twice this price. You can find excellent instruction for replacing the sensor on YouTube.com.

Q: Where is this sensor located

It is located in the interior of the vehicle above the driver's side window. You will see a small round plastic vented cover. (Looks like a little speaker). You will need to remove the overhead interior fabric roof panel to access the actual sensor.

Q: Is there a good way to install on a 07 yukon with sunroof. I have removed the panel and see the part put seems need to remove the roof panel ?

Hi Emily! I replaced my sensor on a 2003 Yukon SLT with a sunroof. If this part "Fits" your '07 Yukon, then this should work. I removed the panel from the dash to the left edge of "left sun-visor". Then I had to "pull down" the roof panel slightly to remove the connector. You may want to search for this procedure on "YouTube" as I did.

Q: will this work for a 2007 chevy tahoe?

If you look this part up on Amazon, there's a place at the top to enter your model. According to their website (Amazon's) it DOES fit a 2007 Chev Tahoe!!! Enter the part # and try it for yourself!
