I’ve had three of these winders previously. Their lifetime expectancy seems to be between 3 and 4 years. When you consider it runs 24 hours a day that’s not bad. Perhaps the very expensive ones last longer but I’m happy. This is a slightly larger model so accommodates my Submariner more easily. Good price. An excellent buy!

Mine came with a 3 pin UK plug, so no adaptor needed. Totally silent so it sits by my bedside and I put my watch in it at bedtime and put it back on again when I wake up. Previously, if I wore a different watch for a few days or over the weekend my watch would stop, now it keeos running and keeps perfect time. Not tried it on batteries yet so can't comment on how long batteries keep it running for.

I left my automatic watch in the watch winder for a few weeks expecting it to still be going. No - it had stopped! On further investigation I discovered the winder is highly unreliable. The motor tends to seize up intermittently and therefore the winder cannot be trusted to keep your automatic watch going if you don't wear it for extended periods. I definitely would not recommend this product.

Seemed perfect to give my husband with his new watch on our wedding day. Unfortunately after working in total silence until just after the minimal 30 day return date it now makes too much noise to enable it to be plugged in in the bedroom. No sign anywhere of how to contact the sellers after the 30 day time limit.

Bought this watch winder for my partner about a year ago. Like with many other reviews, it seems this watch winder is fine for the first few weeks, then it starts getting louder than when it first came out the box, until ultimately it dies!! We've tried everything to get it working again but the motor is clearly caput. It seems you get what you pay for, so we'll be looking at a higher quality (likely, more expensive) winder that, unlike this cheap tat, will hopefully stand the test of time...

Got this for my Seiko Automatic watch. Only just tried it, but seems to work perfectlyand the motor is silent. a good buy I think.Had this since January. It looks good but has not worked for months. It does not do what it's supposed to, and does not keep my watch going. The makers are obviously not confident in it's ability as they only give a 30 day warranty. Their instruction leaflet states that "time's moving because of me " it should read time stands still because of me. A complete waste of money.

I bought this watchwinder to keep my watch going when I wasn't using it. I couldn't believe the price as some winders cost hundreds of pounds. I haven't been disappointed with it. I feel it is really good value for money, clean lines and stylish. I don't hear it as it's so quiet, I would certainly reccomend it from my experience so far.

Absolute load of rubbish. Hasn't even lasted a year. Initially it seemed very good, was very quiet and worked perfectly. Then became very noisy and has stopped working altogether. Spend a bit more money and purchase a quality one and save yourself £30
