These D - cell Amazon batteries seem to have a long life and have never leaked in any conditions that I have used them for. Good portable power that works great in some of my specialty clocks and flashlights that use this size of battery, etc. and I will buy more of these as needed. Good batteries they just don’t last as long as Duracell. But for the price that well worth it.

Amazon Basics batteries are my go-to for all the little items I have around the house that require batteries. The shelf life is good and I have never had a problem with them. Once a name brand was on sale and I got them....big mistake!!! They were horrible and not usuable even after returning them twice. I will never deviate away from the Amazon Basics brand again as that was a waste of 3 days of my life. The battery sizes that I use all the time are on auto ship and I have not missed a beat since setting up the auto ship. The value for the money cannot be beat.
