Franklin SCD2110 Electronic Dictionary

Great dictionary. I'm really enjoying this electronic dictionary because of it's function, features, and intuitive menus. The number of features is really amazing: dictionary, thesaurus, clock, calculator, phone book, and many more. There is a learning curve, but that can be expected with anything this sophisticated. My only complaint is the really poorly printed instructions. The print is tiny and not dark enough to read easily, even with a magnifier. Some reviewers complained of poor audio; I don't have a problem understanding the pronunciations, and my hearing isn't great. Another complaint I read is that it doesn't open immediately to dictionary. Well, it will if, in dictionary mode, you simply clear the screen and shut it off. When you restart it will open in dictionary mode. I recommend it.

This is a great device that anyone would be glade to have. This is one of those great little things that we should always keep handy. While studying and reading I can just reach over and find the definition or hear any word I'm not sure about. It's a real help.
