Easy to put together. Worked great to hold cupcakes - used records as the "plates" - which looked super cute and was the talk of our wedding.

Honestly, I am a huge review reader and I thought I had my bases covered by the positive reviews. I bought these and I hate them. So flimsy, fragile, and made out of horrible cheap "metal". I put plastic plates as well as regular acrylic. None of them stayed. they all fell apart. I couldn't get them to stay screwed in. I am a HUGE DIYer and this was not worth the money at all. Don't forget you have to buy a drill bit for $15 just to drill into the plates. Don't waste your money. I now have 5 sets of plates I've drilled, with hardware that won't work and bends all over the place. I couldn't even place cookies on the stands because they kept falling off from tipping. I don't understand how nobody else has had this experience. I don't get the positive reviews when I see nothing positive about it.

I used the hardware with vinyl records for my wedding. Everyone loved them, they were durable, and I can't wait to figure out other ways to use this hardware!

I read alot of reviews before I bought this, my biggest concern was from the person who said they were a DIY I almost didn't buy them be cause of her review but figured they weren't that expensive. Well after a little trial and error I got the right combination. Base plate needs to be sturdy. I used plate chargers then got $ store plastic plates. Now I have elegant looking stands for a bridal shower, and didn't break the bank.

These came with screws and rubber washers. 5 sets worked out well. One post was slightly bent. I will order more. Delivery takes a while from overseas but that is expected.

We used these for our daughters wedding. The look of them was good, but the quality a little on the "cheep" side. Once we drilled plates and put holders in the plates did move a bit. We were able to use them once, but will not be able to use again, most of them broke. The plates used were not that heavy, so I was surprised.

These worked perfect for my wedding shower. I bought china from estate sales and made cookie trays for my center pieces. Then one person at each table had a chance to win one and take it home!

Metal hardware (Gold or Silver) is poor quality and bends with weight of middle sized china plate. It took 2 sets of glass/tile cutting drill bit on china plates. We used a drill press and 3 drill bit sizes until we reached proper hole size. Diamond cutting drill bit has wrong tip shape and skips around on plate. Porcelain drill bit should have be better but is expensive. Using metal washers under plates and nylon washers above plates work better than the provided nylon washers. Perhaps will work better with acrylic or plastic plates; but why waste the effort.Online product description should specify type and size of needed drill bit.
