Great product!
If I could give this product 6 stars I would. The rack looks nice and is well made. Here is where the 6th star needs to come in. Installation is always interesting. We have cement walls. Now, on a normal day we would drill a hole in the cement for projects such as this, but not on this day. On this special day this project turned into a full out stress relieving exercise. We had to substitute nails for the screws. After realizing the nails were not secure enough it was surprising to find that the screws supplied are so strong you can screw them into cement about a centimeter, only after a nail is hammered into the wall about 100 times to make a whole. When you are installing anything onto cement you will find that the wall may not have a true flat surface, but that didn't seem to affect this wonderfully made rack. The wood formed to the wall without any problems or cracking. Also this rack can withstand the force of a small hand hammer coming at full force about 50 times on each side. Not one crack or split. There are a few dents, but with a little brown marker you won't notice a thing. To top it off the little wood plugs that cover the holes still fit after taking such a beating. In all this is a great sturdy and nice looking rack that's easy to install. I will buy again. :)

excellent coat rack
This coat rack is made well and has been keeping our coats and bags organized. I like how it looks on the wall too. It's the right size and color. Holds all of our jackets without a problem.

Attractive, sturdy, functional, and easy to install
We had a remarkably similar rack I bought over a decade ago at Target. Over time, a few of the hooks broke off from heavy use by our (then) young kids! Target no longer carries the same rack, but I was thrilled to find this one, which is practically a duplicate of what we had. We drilled new holes but were able to use the screws that came with it - which were longer and more secure than the original rack it was replacing. Many similar racks have notches on the back to attach to screws - but in my experience, they are less secure. This rack installs with proper length screws from the front, and then has little decorative wooden caps to cover the screws (and yes, they're secure and stay into place well - though I did use a mallet to ensure they were solidly in place, probably not necessary). It looks great, is highly functional, a good value for the price, and attractive. I highly recommend this rack, and have no doubt it will last even longer than the 10+ years of the rack it replaced!

Very nice hooks. Well made. A bit pricey.

A great convenience!
This is a very nice coat rack! I have been looking for just the right one to fit on a section of wall. This fit perfectly. Very sturdy when installed and it looks great. I like this type as the screws attach through the front then are finished off with nice looking screw caps. I do not like the racks that have the attachments on the back where you put a screw in the wall and then slip the rack over the screws. The screws through the front make for a much sturdier installation.

Perfect way to make use of wall space next to the front door
I bought this since my house is really tiny and has no coat hooks anywhere, so it made more sense to make use of the 36” empty space between the window and front door frame than to get an actual standing coat rack. Everything feels really solid. I drilled into the stud for the center mount, and then since the other sides aren’t spaced far enough apart to hit their own studs, I used a small mounting anchor on the left side, and a heavier duty mounting anchor on the right side to compensate for a slight curvature in the drywall itself. It feels really sturdy, it looks good, and now I don’t have to keep putting my coat on the floor or hanging it off of a door.

Eureka!
I had a recent sudden change in my life and found myself hanging a wall-mounted coat/hat/beanie rack. I cussed it. A lot. I work in engineering and construction engineering. It should not be hard to hang a rack on the wall. I kept looking at the one I had to hang and realized the problem. The mounting was on the back and being the typical man, I was positive I could just guess where the brackets needed screws to mount. I kept looking at the one I had and said out loud, "Surely someone makes one with screws that go through the front?" There it is, folks. If you're fighting a wall-mounted coat rack and can't figure out why, it's because the screws don't go through the front. Which is where this product comes in. First, I love dark wood, and it has screw holes/mounting through the front! It took 4 minutes to mount it and start using. Very nice, subtle but classic-look to it. For some humor, it really only would have taken about 30 seconds to mount it, but I dropped one of the screws and spent several minutes looking for it. Really nice piece especially for the price. Looks much nicer than the previous one that I couldn't even mount.

Purchasing this was a necessity, as the wife was getting annoyed at my hanging my jackets and sweaters on the back of the bar stools in the basements. We bought the cocoa and soft iron version, with 6 hooks. With the closet now full, and winter here with all the winter gear out, we needed another option. This coat hanger is perfect for alleviating the closet and preventing it from bursting at the seams. We installed it in the basement in the man-cave, where I spend most of my time. It's put in a place where it's convenient for guests to hang their coats as well. I installed it using the supplied drywall anchors, and it's pretty sturdy into the wall. I wouldn't hang off of it, but I don't think we'll have any issues with hanging 10+ coats on it. It easily matches the darker decor in the basement, and keeps the clutter away from the couches and chairs.

Box was ripped open when delivered, but the coat rack was just fine. Hung it up, looks beautiful and is pretty sturdy! Also, delivery was faster then expected!

Looks beautiful and matches my cherry hardwood floors well. It's well built and high quality and they is no flexing in the hooks even when a heavy jacket is attached. One complaint: The holes provided for installation are less than 12 inches apart. You will not be able to attach these to two of your wall studs, only one. I wanted to attach this to two of my wall studs so I drilled my own holes 16 inches apart and now it hangs completely securely.

As advertised. Good quality for price. Exactly the size I needed for the space. Love the colours of the wood and the hooks.
